This is really a great contest – the best Ihave ever seen for cats! You always see contests for dogs and other animals – but few for cats! I have two of them – 19 yr old calico and 10 yr old seal point siamese (I think) that was found at a dumpster when a kitten and we have raised. Hope I win!!

I love dogs and cats but because of my emphysema I cannot properly care for a dog anymore although I had one all my life but now I have Lucky and his name is symbolic. When he was a tiny kitten apparently he was abandoned and my neighbor was clearing out some elephant ear weeds with a scythe and nicked the top of his right leg as Lucky was hiding, fearfully in the elephant ear. His yowl brought him to my neighbors attention and since he was bleeding rather profusely he brought him to me knowing that I had been a nurse before retiring. I got the bleeding stopped and could see the bone but it seemed intact. Rushed him to the vets and two days later went back and picked him up. He was a tiny tiny thing, probably runt of the litter and he is still small physically but he has a big heart and lots of courage and I love him to bits. Just know he would love the suede cat bed.
My catz would get a kick out of this! All 3 of them are champions 🙂

A stray cat had a litter of kittens under my shed. I took the mother and kittens into my home. I fell in love with all of them. I kept the smallest of the kittens and the mommy. The rest I had to find loving homes for. I am a single mom with 3 children, so i can’t buy all the things I would like to for them. Mom has a collar and tags and is happy to have a home. Baby is beautiful and doing great! I would love to win this for them.

I donate my spare time working at my local animal shelter that currently has 200 cats. Not only do I have three cats but I take in strays fix them up get them their shots and find them a home. Every cat that I take in and find a home for I send them off with food and toys and sometimes a bed. I spend alot of my own money on vet bills and supplies and this prize would sure be a plus for the next cat I take in and send to a new home. My last cat rescue just found a new home 9 days ago and he loves his new owners. No more living on the streets for him he went to the OC (Orange County Ca) not bad for a once alley cat.

I have seven cats and a brand new hyperactive kitten who would just love to receive this lovely package in the mail. Wicket and Presto have long hair and would really appreciate the new brush. Indy has short hair, but he sheds a lot, so he’d like the brush, too. Trickster and baby Kali are the most playful and would enjoy the toys. Remy and Misha would get the new bowls. I do cat rescue, more specifically, I do feral cat rescue. I trap them, neuter them, and return them to where they were trapped. If there is a friendly stray, I take them in and get them adopted out through a rescue group I volunteer with. We have two rescued dogs and two rescued cats indoors at home and they are just amazing creatures.

We just rescued 4 sick kittens. We lost one of them but the other 3 are doing well. This package sure would come in quite handy right now. We weren’t prepared but are doing the best we can with them.
